Hi I'm 54 years of age and currently hold a level 3 in mentoring, personal development snd empowerment I also hold a certificate in smart recovery and a level 1 in mental health awareness, I attained this certification during my own recovery at a treatment center in Yorkshire, not knowing most my adult life what I wanted to do as a career I never expected whilst healing myself I would be drawn to a career in the health care industry as a mentor, I do have certain health care needs due being a sufferer of C.P.T.S.D for which I pay privately for a psychologist and receive therapy in the area of Transactional analysis, to help me cope with the symptoms of said disorder and find it not only effective but also educational to better understand my situation as a mental health sufferer which had a positive outcome, I have a very good rapport with my therapist and have a clear understanding of how important that doing the groundwork in health support capacity is essential to both health worker and client, which is also much needed and required also in a mentor/mentee relationship ( The Buddy System) and I would like to revisit the opertunity to explore the chances of maybe attaining a career in mentorship, I would be greatful any assistance and support in this matter Many thanks.
